About Us

Interludio Duo are Jacopo Ogliari (1988) at the Violin and Aurelio Pietro Pizzuto (1986) on Cello.

We began our collaboration since years of musical preparation at the G. Donizetti Conservatory of Bergamo, our native country where we both brilliantly graduated.

Both multi-instrumentalists since we were young,  we soon engaged in various musical ensembles and bands. We immediately cleared our minds out about concerning  what music effectively is. Our ideas were clear and agreed right from the start, that’s why we decided to make the Duo’s experience effective.

Despite our classical training, we make improvisation an integral part of our shows, as a manifesto of the musical affinity that has linked us in the years. In our shows we propose both our own music and interpreted music in a contemporary interpretation open to various contaminations of genres maintaining “a direct line” between the opera and the public.

Interludio Duo has performed successfully throughout Italy and Europe boasting appearances in musical seasons national and international and collaborations with multiple Artistic associations. We pride ourself also on several collaborations with both International and Italian artists.

In 2020 we recorded “Drie Inventionen” by H. Andriessen a Dutch composer of the mid-twentieth century.

In April 2021 we released our first Single “Intermission”  on Spotify and all the major music platforms.

Our instruments are a violin “G.Fiorini” from 1936 and a violoncello “l. Fabris” from 1834.
